Charles Harris was a professor of Hydraulics
at the University of Washington, which was located
next door to the Jensen Boat Yard. Charles was a very
Talented individual so much so that if you ever
have the opportunity, you can go visit the Hydraulics Building
located on the South Campus on Portage Bay which
was named after him.Charlie and Tony Jensen
were good friends and they worked together building
three different boats. The Scamper,Vivachi and
one more, similar to Scamper.
