The Slomoshun IV
Struts and Bearings used
in the 1950 World Record & Gold Cup races..

...

This Strut configuration was designed and developed by Anchor Jensen for the 1950 season.
This strut was on the boat when she achieved her World Record breaking run in June of 1950, the Gold Cup Victory in Detroit and the Harmsworth Trophy. Even though it worked quite well
Anchor had some ideas that he would implement in the design and development of the 3rd version
of the strut. Which replaced this version and achieved its own success by Breaking the World Record again in 1952 and more Gold Cups.
