Miss Bardahl
"The Green Dragon"
1958
We are very proud to say that Anchor Jensen and the
incredible Jensen staff of Nagel,Swanson,Blum,Davison,Fabrico
and Johnson, the same guys who worked on the Slomo IV & V
and Hawaii Kaiwere heavily involved with this terrific Hydroplane.
After the 1958 season OlyBardahl asked Anchor to do a |
complete rebuild of The Miss Bardahl.
The rebuild took took place
from December 1958 to May of 1959 and added up to
more then 2700 hours. The Jensen Team continued
to work on the Bardahl throughout the 59 & 1960
racing seasons-untill the introduction of Miss Bardahl #3

With this recent discovery of information in our archives
It shows that Anchor Jensen and the Jensen Motor Boat Company
played a major role in the design, development, construction
or rebuilding of 4 of the most important Hydroplanes
of the decade of 1950, Slo-mo-shun IV, Slo-mo-shun V,
Hawaii Kai and now the Miss Bardahl.
