Cadrew
1932
Cadrew has the honor of being the largest boat
ever built at
Jensen's.She is a classic bridgedeck/fantail motor yacht.
She was
commissioned by Mr. Griswald to be the pride of Puget
Sound area.
Mr. Griswald was a fanatic about electronics
and he had Tony Jensen install the latest and greatest
electronic
technology. He had alarms and status gauges, that would
alert him
and the crew of any problem instantly. The Cadrew is
currently
being renovated somewhere in California.
If the people who are reconditioning her see this please
contact us,
we would love to know how she is.

Model built by Anchor Jensen/age 14
Comment:Anchor at the age of 14 carved
the name
of the Cadrew in the stern. Imagine your dad asking you
to cut into a boat that was complete and cost a small
fortune
in 1932. Tony had a lot of confidence in Anchor and gave
him
responsibilities that were meant to increase his
confidence
and abilities.
