Right after the 1950 season Anchor implemented an idea he had wanted to try. The idea involved
lubricating the Linen Micarta Bearings. He also wanted to change the V strut that they had used in the boat in the the 1950 season. This meant designing & developing a lubricating system along with designing and developing a new strut.

He used the coolant water from the engine coolant reservoir. Anchor had combined the Oil coolant system into the engine coolant water reservoir. I hope to have a drawing up on the system soon.
